APRIL FOOLS!
But in all seriousness, I have an awesome artist that I'm currently crushing on musically. She's not totally new news and I am not claiming that I found her first. But she might just be the best thing to happen to me in the last week. I had heard her name as the girl in the Gotye song, "Somebody That I Used to Know". But she is way more than that. She is like a more soulful Imogen Heap, and I am loving her!
For your viewing pleasure, I have a couple of her videos. The first video is her song, "Settle Down", hence my post title.
The second video is a mash-up of two great songs, which I won't do justice to in introducing any further...just watch-You won't be disappointed.
In other news, concert season is upon us. Below is my list of shows I would be interested in going to. Let me know if you're interested...
Foster The People-Kimbra will be opening for them-I'm SOOOO THERE!
Tracy Lawrence
Eve 6
The Grand Kerfuffle ft. Wiz Khalifa
Garbage
The Avett Brothers
Toby Keith
I'm sure that there will be more shows pop up, but here's a good start.
Don't call it a comeback, I've been here for years...

That's right everyone, I'm back in the blogging world. I think LL Cool J said it best in his song "Mama Said Knock You Out". Don't call it a comeback, I've been here for years...I just haven't been posting about it. But I decided it was time to update everyone with my ridiculous life. But we wouldn't want to miss any of the strange, awkward, hilarious things that have happened to me while I wasn't blogging. Do not fret, I will be adding those to my Flash back Friday posts! I can't wait because I have some real treats for you guys!
So to get my self back into the swing of things, I will give you my top five favorite songs of the week.
1. "We Are Young" by FUN
2. "Feel So Close" by Calvin Harris
3. "Alone" by Heart
4. "Someone That I Used To Know" by Gotye
5. "Hold On" by Wilson Phillips
There you have it, I'm back and it feels so good!
